Golf Courses and Facilities
The Bella Vista Country Club Golf Course, the community’s oldest course, received a major greens renovation project in March 2005. Stretching 6,900 yards, the 18-hole golf course features relatively few hills as it mildly rolls along U.S. 71.
The Kingswood Golf Course also strolls along U.S. 71. The links-style 18-hole course covers 6,247 yards and runs north toward the Bella Vista Country Club before winding back to the Kingsdale clubhouse off of Riordan Road.
The Berksdale Golf Course comprises the second half of the Kingsdale Golf Complex. The village’s most played course runs along both sides of U.S. 71. Its 18 holes roll through 6,368 yards of trees, water and sand.
The Dogwood Hills Golf Course, the village’s newest course, provides two-thirds of 27 holes of golf at the Metfield Golf Complex. The links-style 18-hole course covers 6,233 yards of gentle terrain and towering trees, with holes ranging from 140 to 552 yards.
The Brittany Golf Course is an executive nine-hole course which rounds out the 27-hole Metfield Golf Complex. The course offers challenges for the novice and experienced golfer.
The Highlands Golf Course tests your shot-making talents with 18 holes on 6,640 yards built among Bella Vista’s most tumultuous terrain. Beautiful views lessen the pain of lost balls, and novice golfers will find it a challenge.
The Scotsdale Golf Course offers 18 holes on 6,745 yards that play like two totally different nine-hole courses. The front nine are a gentle, generous group while the back nine make novices shudder, especially holes 12 through 15, which offer amazingly beautiful views and an even more amazing demand of skill.
The Branchwood Golf Course is a nine-hole par 3 facility. Measuring just 1,211 yards, the course is carved out of a Bella Vista “holler” and it’s a trip back to nature that is especially beautiful in the spring and fall.
The Tanyard Creek Practice Center features 36 hard surface stations and a grass tee featuring 20,000 square feet of hitting area. An 8,000-square-foot putting green and a practice area featuring bunkers and chipping stations were added in 1998.

During the “family friendly” times, in addition to the four tee boxes, “family” tees will be set up on the fairway about 150 to 200 yards from the green for the younger players to utilize.
The rate is available on all Bella Vista golf courses. The package requires at least one of the participating adults to have a current POA-issued photo identification card.
The association also will offer a $30 guest package for those times when a member, who does not play golf, has family visiting for the weekend.
A junior golf rate also has been established for all Bella Vista Village golf courses. All junior golfers may play up to 18 holes, after noon, for $8 at the 18-hole facilities, as well as a $7 all-day rate for Brittany and $6 for Branchwood, which are both nine-hole facilities.
