Bella Vista offers some of the finest fishing, boating and outdoor recreation experiences in the region. The quality of Bella Vista’s lakes makes them ideal for all water activities, including fishing, skiing, swimming, boating and simply enjoying the beauty of the natural surroundings. With seven lakes to choose from, Lake Ann, Lake Windsor and Loch Lomond are the largest, all-sports lakes in the village. Lake Avalon, Lake Norwood, Lake Rayburn and Lake Brittany are primarily fishing and swimming lakes, with “no wake” restrictions.
An Arkansas fishing license must be obtained by those fishing in Bella Vista lakes. Property owners must have a current POA-issued photo identification card or pay the guest lake use fee to use any of the Bella Vista’s lakes. Guests must have a current guest card and pay the “lake use fee” to use any of the Bella Vista’s lakes, unless accompanied by a member with a current POA-issued photo identification card.
A current state and POA boat registration is required before using any boats on the POA’s lakes. Members wanting to use their boat must have a current POA-issued photo identification card and current annual POA boat registration (permit). Guests must have a current guest card and a temporary boat permit, in order to use their boat on any of the lakes.
NOTE: The use of any personal watercraft, houseboats and float planes is prohibited on all Bella Vista lakes. A recommended speed limit of 35 mph applies to lakes Ann, Windsor and Lomond.
